In the quiet still hours of the morning I stood wrapped in my favorite cardigan dawning thick wooly socks, listening to the sounds of nature waking up, watching its rituals. This is the draw. That quiet methodical movement. It physically pulls my soul. It begs to be heard and purely just experienced, that stillness of the blanketed hillside and nothing else.
And then.... caffeine, arriving on the scene like a medic, prepared and agile, serving soothing Aeropress espresso, which instantly hits my deprived system. As social giddiness re-enters my blissed out body we happen upon delicious cocktails and dine on hearty comfort food. My brain fires excitedly with delight over the juxtapositions of the feminine floral wallpaper set against black with the salvaged wide planked wall.
I'm left satiated.
